THE DEAL
Here’s the Deal… For more than two decades, I’ve helped turn ideas into high-performance products for the action sports industry. My background was built in design and development. Protective equipment, technical apparel, outerwear, gloves, and accessories. However my role today reaches far beyond the drawing board. As Senior Product Line Manager at EVS Sports, I lead the strategy, development, and commercial direction of the product line. That means identifying opportunities, building multi-year product roadmaps, developing business cases, managing pricing and profitability, guiding vendor relationships, and bringing Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, athletes, designers, and development partners together around a clear plan. I believe the best products are created where athlete insight, thoughtful design, brand identity, and business reality all meet. Working closely with professional athletes, teams, distributors, and sales partners gives me a direct understanding of what riders need, what the market wants, and where a brand has an opportunity to lead, not simply follow. Throughout my career, I’ve helped develop performance-driven products, launch athlete and brand collaborations, establish new product categories, navigate sourcing and manufacturing challenges, and guide teams through the inevitable twists and turns of product creation. I’m equally comfortable shaping the big-picture vision, reviewing a technical prototype, working through a margin problem, or rallying a team when a project needs some extra horsepower. My leadership style is collaborative, direct, and grounded in accountability. I work to give teams a clear mission, create room for great ideas, and keep everyone focused on delivering products that are innovative, commercially responsible, and unmistakably true to the brand. At the end of the day, I’m a product guy, a brand builder, and a lifelong action sports enthusiast. I love creating gear that solves real problems, protects people while they pursue what they love, and gives a team something they can genuinely be proud to put into the world. That’s the deal: build meaningful products, strengthen the brand, take care of the team, and keep moving forward. Preferably with a little dirt on the tires.
