I was tasked with the challenge of reimagining the protective gear for a leading snowboard brand. Drawing upon my expertise in crash protection, I collaborated with 686 to enhance their existing Progression series. The objective was to provide customers with increased protection, greater flexibility, and an elevated aesthetic through the expansion of the existing Progression pant. This concept inspired the development of a broader product line that could incorporate protection in jackets and gloves. The project was a rewarding endeavor and the final result is now a highly successful product in the 686 lineup.
Progression happens everywhere, from the bunny hill to a massive close-out rail. These pants have been upgraded to reflect the needs of both beginners and street assassins with improved discreet ergonomic armor with removable body- mapped contour cut padding for better ergonomics, breathable 10k fabric, and 500D knee panels... all in the name of your next breakthrough.
